Mozilla Seabird, Conceptual Idea Of Advancement In Mobile

The Mozilla Seabird, part of the Mozilla Labs’ Concept Series, is an experiment in how users might interact with their mobile content as devices and technology advances
Key Features of the Seabird Concept
  • Sleek Design
  • Wireless Charging
  • Mini USB
  • 8 MP camera
  • Dual Pico Projectors
  • Embedded Bluetooth Dongle
  • 3.5 mm Audio Jack
  • Bluetooth headset enabling Haptic Clicking, zooming in 3D Space
  • IR QWERTY keypad detectors

Interaction
The Seabird, then, introduces a few possibilities into how user interaction might evolve with the advancing motion capture and projector driven innovation in the market. First out, the Seabird imagines how a multiple use dongle might augment the crowded gestural interface with greater precision and direct manipulation of content in 3D space.

A few examples include wireless charging, Bluetooth/IR Dongle, Mini USB and Infrared QWERTY keypad detector to name a few. With mobile devices approaching the lines of desktops and laptops and other devices which have been introduced in the market lately, such features don’t seem to be far from reality. The Mozilla Seabird, which has been conceptualized by Billy May says, the phone aims at overcoming the frustrations of people while using small devices.
